My Fun-filled Weekend
My weekend was filled with fun, work, chores, and more fun. I consider weekends to be from Friday after school to Monday morning. Weekends are nothing, but a time away from school and school work. Although I was given homework for the weekend I still managed to have fun. I honestly don't know anyone who dislikes weekends at all.
Friday night, I went to my mom's friend's house to watch a movie and hang out while my parents went to a couple's meeting. We all watched the movie, "How to Train Your Dragon." It was funny because I had just watched that movie earlier in the day for my in-school-play-day at school. I had so much fun cooking homemade nachos all together. We then got bored and started searching for movies on movies-on-demand.
On Saturday, I slept late and finished my homework for the weekend. It was pretty boring doing all my chores until my mom told me to practice for my face painting job that I would do on Sunday. It was all fun after that especially when my mom asked if I wanted her to take me to the 99. My parents and I dropped off my sister at a friend's house and went to the 99. We were in line for an hour and a half, and were in the 99 for an hour. That was the best thing that happened all weekend.
On Sunday, I woke up early to get ready for church and my mom was already up filling the truck for the church's fall fest. When we got to church immediately we started setting up fro all the games. When church started all the ten to twelve year olds got groups of younger kids and the games began. I had four boys in my group, and they loved for me to be the goaly of their soccer game. Then all the older kids watched a drama that happened in church. Finally I finished the day face painting the day away.
